Music Machine were a big hit with everybody present on the evening
with their mix of soft rock and blues, featuring many hits from the
70s and 80s.
Then El Duo took to the stage to sing live with the 4-piece band and
their performance was outstanding as they sang many new numbers and
some old favourites.
David from Oscars was there representing Thais4Life and spoke
briefly about their work with Baan Jing Jai.
During the evening a lucky draw was held with prizes ranging from
Gift Vouchers, Wine, Whisky, Champagne and a TV.
The
prizes were donated by Thais4Life, Boyz Town businesses Ambiance
Group, Amor, Copa, Funny Boys/Panorama, Le Café Royale and Oscars
plus prizes also donated by Ozz Bar and Sam's Mexican Diner in
Jomtien.
During the evening cash donations to the value of 26,200 Baht were
received from Tim (Panorama), Tom and Michael from Hong Kong, James
and Lazlo and Café Royale General Manager Tom.
After the raffle a Birthday Cake was presented to DK (unfortunately
I couldn't get close enough to count the number of candles).
At
the end of the evening a fantastic 60,000 Baht had been raised.
A
fantastic night out and a fantastic result for Thais4Life. A big
thank you to everyone who supported the evening.

Le Cafe Royale from 9.45pm until 12.30am
