Le
Café Royale night of music with
Ronald Willemsen

On Sunday, February 8, 2009 Le Café
Royale in Boyztown hosted a gala dinner and musical evening led by the
internationally acclaimed baritone Ronald Willemsen.
The function was a sell out and
proved to be a huge success judging by the very positive comments from
many of the 60 persons present.
Ronald introduced a couple of guest artists also. Phil from the USA and
David Raven from the UK who each helped out with renditions of their
own.
A very generous percentage (25%) of the proceeds has been given to
Thais4Life to help out with a special project of providing a new
kitchen at the orphanage. Also Donations from customers and 50% of any
sales from Ronald’s CD, ‘A Touch of Passion’ were donated.
Songs performed on the night included:-
Music in the Night – Andrew Lloyd Webber; I Love Paris, Londonderry Air,
If I were a Rich Man, You Raise Me Up – Josh Grosvenor; Memories of
Love; Kalinka; Spanish Eyes; Strangers in the Night and several more.
