As we reported in May Jim Lumsden, of Boyz Boyz Boyz, Ambiance and Pattaya Gay Festival, has volunteered to take part in this year's Pattaya Marathon which is only a few days away (July 20).

Jim has been training at least four times a week now for the last 15 weeks. "It has been a long hard slog but great fun!"

Jim is running the Marathon to raise money for PGF Charities, a worthy cause that is very close to his heart, and so far has raised a staggering 880,000 Baht in sponsorship.

"I still hope to meet my target of one million baht," added Jim. "I would like to finishing the 42 km in five hours, but I am not too bothered, as long as I can finish.

"Also I would like to thank all my sponsors and friends who have given me the encouragement I needed to continue pounding the roads during the 15 week training program."
