PGF Rear of the Year 2008

Friday May 30 Throb/Splash was the date and venue of this year's PGF Rear of the Year and 20 contestants lined up to "bare their bums".

A packed audience watched as the contestants paraded with a chance to win one of the cash prizes and a trophy. The judges for the contest were Gulf from A Bomb, Graham from Uniform Bar and Dennis.

The prizes were: 1st prize 8,000 Baht donated by Boyz Boyz Boyz; 2nd prize 5,000 Baht from Panorama; and 3rd prize 3,000 Baht from Throb/Splash. There was also a prize for the Mr Popular, chosen by the audience, of 8,000 Baht which was donated by Le Café Royale.
 

After the parading of the contestants there was a show by the Throb/Splash show boys. After the show the final 14 contestants paraded and Mr Popular was chosen.

Audience members purchased "bananas" to donate to their favourite, the proceeds of which are donated to PGF. It was a close run battle between numbers 18 and 19. But the eventual winner was number 19. "Q".

The judges decision was then announced. In third place was number 19 from Throb/Splash, again, "Q". Second place was awarded to number 2 "Kari" from Villa Rouge in Sunee Plaza.

PGF Rear of the Year 2008 was awarded to number 8 who works at Wild West Boys.

With donations, door entrance money and the selling bananas the evening raised in excess of 100,000 Baht for the Pattaya Gay Festival charities.
